13100 Psomas Way - Cluster 4D

These garden owners decided that it was time to replace their water guzzling lawn with a drought tolerant landscape which would reduce their water consumption. A large part of this project was to replace the old irrigation system with a drip irrigation system.

Now that the garden is established, they've cut their water usage in half! Rain buckets and rain barrels capture rainwater flowing from the roof into the rain gutters.

They also wanted to create a garden that would feature always something blooming but at the same time look as though nature was its landscape designer. They achieved this goal as well. Having their own lemon tree again was also important; having the right sun exposure for this made it possible.

Susanne Jett (Jettscapes) designed the landscape. David O. Lightfoot (dolightfoot@gmail.com) handled the installation.
