These garden owners had four priorities for their new landscaping.
- Low or no water usage
- Low maintenance
- Child friendly play space
- Beauty
They eliminated all the grass planted by the previous owner to cut down on their water usage, installed a combination of concrete paving areas with gravel borders for child-friendly play space, and used mainly succulents for their low water needs, low maintenance requirements, and of course, for their beauty.
They did all this work as do-it-yourself projects, in a series of steps, over
time, and at very low budget. They love the results, as do their
neighbors!
